Over a million private sector workers have lost their jobs this year and the remaining federal government workforce (that wasn’t fired by DOGE) isn’t being paid right now. That all has a multiplier effect on the rest of the economy. Grocery prices, healthcare costs, housing are all increasing.

Enact tariffs, a regressive tax on poor people, so the rich can have a lower tax burden. It’s a sneaky way to increase taxes without it being obvious like income taxes.
Cut taxes for the rich and cut services (spending) for the poor aka the big beautiful bill.
Influence the fed to lower interest rates, which along with tariffs, will lead to inflation so they can inflate away the debt with cheaper dollars. Underreport the actual inflation numbers. Kick back a few crumbs to the masses to keep them quiet.
It’s basically the same failed Republican trickle down strategy but on steroids this time. I just hope they don’t blow up the economy too bad but I think they probably are going to.
